About the product

Excellent Heat Distribution

The stoneware casserole dish is made of specially formulated clay fired at high temperatures to produce very densely strong earthenware. This advantageously means two things: firstly, the casserole won’t absorb moisture from your food, so flavors stay true, and it won’t dry out dishes; secondly, excellent heat distribution occurs due to the density of the stoneware, meaning each scoop will be heated evenly for consistent serving temperature.

Superior Heat Retention

This casserole dish is perfect for oven-to-table service. It’s made of high-quality stoneware that holds heat exceptionally well, so your food stays hot and delicious from the oven to the table. Plus, it looks great, too, with its vibrant cerise color.

Smooth Interior Enamel

The smooth interior enamel of this casserole dish is specially designed to resist staining and stick, making it perfect for cooking up your favorite recipes. It’s also easy to clean, which is always a bonus.

Unmatched Thermal Resistance

Le Creuset stoneware is an extremely durable and versatile material that offers unsurpassed thermal resistance. This casserole dish can go from the freezer to the oven without fear of cracking or chipping, making it perfect for baking lasagna or other casserole dishes.

Safe for Freezer, Oven, Microwave, Broiler, Dishwasher, and Metal Utensils

This casserole dish is perfect for those who like to prepare their meals ahead of time and then pop them in the oven when they’re ready to eat. You can also put it in the fridge or freezer without worries, as it is safe to do so. And when you’re finished with it, put it in the dishwasher easily peasy!

Our Score: 93/100

I have had this casserole for several years, and it has performed beautifully. The enamel finish is amazing – it always looks brand new, even though I use it regularly. It’s the perfect size for a side dish or small main course, and it heats evenly, so there are never any hotspots.
The only drawback is that the lid doesn’t fit snugly, so if you’re transporting it somewhere, you need to be careful that nothing bumps into it and knocks the lid off. But other than that, I love this casserole and highly recommend it to anyone!

Conclusion

I love this Le Creuset Stoneware Heritage Covered Rectangular Casserole. The color is beautiful, the perfect size for my family, and it cooks evenly. I have used it several times and had great results each time. I would recommend this product to others.
